Novigrad / Dajla
On the peninsula of Istria you can still find peaceful bays and natural beaches, for example like that one behind the Benedictine monastery of Dajla, called Punta. A tongue of land with natural rocky and pebbly beaches surrounded by the deep blue sea and far from any tourism.
Dajla - a small fishing village - is located on the west coast of Istria between the towns Umag and Novigrad. Traffic position of Dajla is very favorable, 10 km away from Umag, and only 5km from Novigrad. Road network is well connected with the Novigrad, Porec and Umag Riviera, as well as towns , villages and places of Bujština with reknown cultural centers like Grožnjan, Motovun and Oprtalj, as well as with neighboring Slovenia (Koper) and Italy (Trieste), only a few kilometers away. That will save you the trouble of driving for hours in order to have a great vacation.

Neighbourhood towns Umag and Novigrad guarantee a lot of excitement
After an eventful day the wonderful sunset invites you for a walk along the coast to the neighbouring town Novigrad (approx. 5 km) or Umag (approx. 10 km) to enjoy one of the delicious Croatian vines or the Istrian smoked ham (pršut). Dajla also offers four restaurants where you can enjoy the Istrian delicacies as well as three small supermarkets for shopping.
Besides the various water activities such as snorkelling, water skiing, paragliding and sailing, the region is also ideal for active bikers.
